HEDGCOCK, BEATRICE LOUISE "BEA", age 94, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018, at Isabella County Medical Care Facility.

Funeral Services for Bea will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 4 p.m. The family will receive friends the day of the service beginning at 1 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Isabella County Medical Care Facility. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Bea was born on March 24, 1924, in Muskegon County, the daughter of Van and Agnes (Horton) Brown. She was employed at Ferro's and the State Home Regional Center. Bea enjoyed playing cards, dancing, crocheting, and traveling. Her most enjoyable moments were spending time with her children and grandchildren. Bea loved helping others and this was very apparent as a volunteer for Christmas Outreach.

Bea is survived by her son Julian (Dorothy) Kampf; step-children: Marilyn Losey, Joanne Cochran, Larry (Donna) Gross, Sandy (John ) Strazanac, Charlene Gross, daughter-in-law Jan Gross, James (Candy) Hedgcock, Sharon Hedgcock, Jon (Barbara) Hedgcock, and Claudia (Ervin) Conn.

Bea was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jim Hedgcock, daughter Barbara Jean, infant daughter Carol, sister Elizabeth Chrestenson, brothers Vernon, George, and Charles; step-children Virginia Jackson, Patricia Klumpp, Don Gross, Bob Gross, Allen Gross, Carol Thomas, and Jack Gross.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at the Medical Care Facility for the wonderful care they gave to Bea the last 12 years.
