STINSON, BONNIE GLEE, age 70, of Rosebush passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016 at the Woodland Hospice in Mt. Pleasant.

Funeral Services for Bonnie will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Thursday, January 7, at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in the Vernon Township Cemetery. A Luncheon will be held at the Reflections Reception Center following the Committal Service. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue the day of the service from 12 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Woodland Hospice or to McLaren Central Michigan. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Bonnie was born on April 19, 1945 in Clare, the daughter of Harold and Geneva (Tiedeman) Thayer. She married the love of her life, James Stinson on June 26, 1965 in Farwell. Bonnie worked at the egg plant in Loomis in her youth and was self employed as a landlord over the last 40 years to many. She was an angel from heaven right from the start, she enjoyed taking care of others and had a huge heart.

Bonnie is survived by daughters, Lanette (Steve) Zaleski of Mt. Pleasant and Janice Roach of FL; sister, Marcia Flegel of Rosebush; sister-in-law, Beth (Ken) Lester of Mt. Pleasant; grandsons, James R. Stinson of CA, Rodney House of Mt. Pleasant, Shane (Marcie) Stinson, and Tommy Roach, both of FL; granddaughter, Rachel House of Mt. Pleasant; great-grandchildren, Patricia Stinson, Evelyn House, and Miles Vasquez; and many nieces and nephews.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Jim; daughter, Patricia Stinson; parents; brothers, Norris and Wayne Thayer; grandson, Teddy House; and aunt, Dorothy Stinson.
