BLUEMER, CHERYL LYNN, age 60, of Blanchard passed away Monday, May 30, 2016, at Woodland Hospice.

Funeral Services for Cheryl will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2016, at Zion Lutheran Church with Rev. Jonathon Bakker officiating. A luncheon will follow the service at the church. Interment will take place in Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, at Clark Family Funeral Chapel and from 10 a.m. until the time of Service on Thursday, June 2, at Zion Lutheran Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Woodland Hospice or Zion Lutheran Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel and the church.

Cheryl was born on November 5, 1955, in Lansing, the daughter of Rolland and Jean (Kratz) Daily. She graduated in the Class of 1973 from Montabella Schools. Cheryl married William Bluemer on June 28, 1986, in Breckenridge. She had worked for 25 years in the Libraries at Central Michigan University, retiring on December 31, 2015. Cheryl was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She enjoyed baking and camping. Cheryl loved spending time with her children and her granddaughter.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, William Bluemer of Blanchard; children Lindsey (Jon) Joyce of New Baltimore, Jeffrey Bluemer of Blanchard, and Matthew Bluemer of Colorado; granddaughter Rylee Joyce; her father Rolland Daily of Blanchard; and her sisters Vanessa (Randy) McBride of Mt. Pleasant and Roxanne Daily of Blanchard.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her mother Jean Daily and her brother Wayne Daily.
