Clayton “Skeeter” Robert Moll 74 of Harrison passed away at his home on Sunday, September 24, 2017 after a long illness. Clayton was born February 23, 1943 in Wyandotte, Michigan the son of Charles Albert and Loraine Evelyn (Orvis) Moll. On September 22, 2006 in Shelby Township, Michigan, Clayton was united in marriage to Marlene Mary Oberliesen.
Skeeter had resided in Harrison since 2007, moving from Shelby Township. Mr. Moll was a member of: St. Athanasius Catholic Church, Harrison, American Legion Post 404 S.A.L., Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #3541 of Harrison and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #2235 of Harrison. Skeeter enjoyed fishing, hunting, vegetable gardening, canning, riding motorcycles, and tinkering, polishing and cruising to car shows with his beloved 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle.
Surviving Skeeter is his loving wife of eleven years, Mrs. Marlene M. Moll of Harrison, two daughters; Tina Livingston and husband Ross of Montgomery, Alabama, and Dawn Gladstone of Imlay City, Michigan, two sons; Jeffrey Moll of Nile, Michigan and Charles Moll and wife Rachelle of Shelby Township, two step-daughters; Gail Pavlik and husband Scott of Macomb Township, Michigan and Tracy Berger and husband Jeffrey of Harrison Township, Michigan, one step-son, Gregory Frank of Shelby Township, three grandchildren; Michelle Shotwell, Joshua Moll, Jenna Gladstone, and five step-grandchildren Alicia Pavlik, Sarah Pavlik, Scott Pavlik Jr., Emily Mogg, and Jack Mogg, one great-grandchild, Aubray Moll, one sister, Sandy Manier and husband Jerry of Baldwin, Michigan, three brothers; Albert Moll and wife Maria of Ohio, Dean Brossy and wife Dodi of Dearborn, Michigan and Edward Brossy and wife Maryann of Fenton, Michigan. Mr. Moll was preceded in death by his parents.
A Vigil Liturgy honoring Mr. Moll will be held Friday, September 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison with Fr. Marcel Portelli officiating. Visitation will take place on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until time of Liturgy. Burial will be in St. Athanasius Catholic Cemetery, Harrison.
