Obituary for Colleen Denise Pelcher

Colleen Denise  Pelcher
COLLEEN DENISE (McQUEEN) PELCHER, age 64, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017, at her home under Heartland Hospice care.

A Memorial Gathering celebrating Colleen’s life will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Thursday, September 28, from 4 to 6 p.m. to share photos, memories, and music. A dinner will follow at the Mt. Pleasant Eagles.

Colleen was born July 19, 1953, in Carson City, MI, the daughter of Marrian Marie (McQueen) Deming and birth father Robert Custer and adopted father Earl “Dale” Darnell. She worked for 14 years as a supervisor at the Soaring Eagle Casino.

Colleen is survived by her children, LeeAnn (Matthew) Ruffino and Quinn Clinton Pelcher, both of Mt. Pleasant; her grandchildren, Matthew (Nichole) Ruffino, Aryl Ruffino, Izabella Ruffino, Isaiah Ruffino, Alina Ruffino, Oliver Pelcher, Mana Pelcher, Quinn Bob Pelcher and Liviah Pelcher; great-grandchild Avianna Tree-Ruffino; brother Dennis (Janiese) Darnell of Harrison; and best friend, Cathy Frederick.

Colleen was preceded in death by her parents and sister Anita Pelcher.
