Obituary for Connie Lea MacAlister (Clark)
Connie Lea MacAlister 65 of rural Harrison passed away at her home on Thursday, April 20, 2017. Connie was born January 24, 1952 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Lloyd Clifton and Maryellen (Bushre) Clark. Upon graduating high school, Connie enlisted in the United States Navy and honorably served her country. On December 6th and December 9th, of 1978 in Keflavik, Iceland, Connie was united in marriage to Mr. Martin MacAlister.
Mrs. MacAlister had resided in Harrison for the past twenty-four years. She was a certified Master Gardener, an avid oil painter, crafter, and quilter, belonging to the Clare County Crazy Quilters.
Surviving Connie is her loving husband of thirty-eight years, Mr. Martin MacAlister of Harrison, her two daughters; Amy MacAlister and Cora MacAlister and her fiancé Ben, her father, Mr. Lloyd C. Clark of Ovid, Michigan, plus many nieces and nephews. Mrs. MacAlister was preceded in death by her mother, Maryellen Clark.
Memorial gifts in memory of Mrs. MacAlister may be considered to: Make-A-Wish Michigan, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Wounded Warrior Project.
