ADAMS, CYNTHIA KAY, age 61, of Rosebush, passed away with family by her side on Thursday, September 24, 2015, at Agape Hospice House in Columbia, SC.

A Memorial Service for Cynthia will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 4, 2015, at Clark Family Funeral Chapel with Cheryl Davis officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m until the time of Service. A luncheon will follow the Memorial Service at the Eagles Club 4463. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society (Lung Division). Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Cynthia was born on September 7, 1954, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Marvin and Carrie (Kemp) Rubingh. She graduated in the Class of 1972 from Mt. Pleasant High School. Cynthia had worked for over 15 years as a warehouse clerk for the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort. She enjoyed caring for her house and yard and watching hummingbirds on the many feeders scattered throughout her yard. She especially loved watching her granddaughter Alena compete in competitive figure skating matches.

Cynthia is survived by her daughter, Tiara (Michael) Myhera and Granddaughter Alena Ottley of Chapin, SC; siblings Rodney Rubingh, Gary (Cindy) Rubingh, Robin Butcher, and Lori Wilkins.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Anne Varga.
