David Kentfield Goodman, 74, of Weidman, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2006.

Funeral services for David will be held on Thursday, September 14, at 1 p.m. at Clark Funeral Chapel with Pastor Greg Buchner officiating. Cremation will take place after the service. Friends of David will gather on Thursday, September 14, from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

David was born May 19, 1932, in Kalamazoo to Seth David and Anna W. (Cook) Goodman, Jr. He served as an Airman 3rd Class in the United States Air Force from 1951-1955. David married Florine Rose Rahall on November 14, 1959, in Angola, Indiana. He had worked as a customer service representative for Consumers Energy for over twenty years, ten of those without missing a day of work. David had previously worked for Bollinger Brothers in Lakeview. He was a member of the Alma VFW Post 5039 and Motor Repair Squadron. David enjoyed hunting and fishing.

David was preceded in death by his wife, Florine, and his parents.
