SISCO, DAVID WAYNE, age 69, of Lake passed away Monday, July 24, 2017, at MediLodge.

Funeral Services for David will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 27, at Clark Family Funeral Chapel with Fred Cantu, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery. A luncheon will follow the Committal Service at the Sherman Township Hall. The family will receive friends from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, at Clark Family Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to MediLodge to provide activities for dementia patients. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

David was born March 28, 1948, in Lake, the son of Wayne and Lilah (Terry) Sisco. He graduated from Barryton High School in the Class of 1967. David served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star during his service. David married Colleen Slater on November 14, 1969. He worked for 25 years in the oil fields for M&L Services in Kalkaska. David enjoyed hunting, fishing and rock polishing. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.

David is survived by his wife, Colleen “Coco” Sisco of Lake; children, David (Tammie) Sisco, Jr. of Weidman, Gena (Steven) Qualls and Christy (Jason) Barker, both of Lake; 8 grandchildren, Orry Sisco, Ayla Sisco, Cora Qualls, Kathryn Qualls, Tristan Qualls, Michael Barker, Aren Barker, and Curtis Barker; brother Robert (Susan) Sisco of Weidman; sisters, Julie Lassen of Lake, Arlene (Douglas) Elias of Mt. Pleasant, and Elaine Main of Barryton.

David was preceded in death by his parents.
