MINNIS, DELLA MARY, age 97, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017, at Isabella County Medical Care Center.

Funeral Services for Della will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 13, at First Baptist Church-Mt. Pleasant with Pastor Allen Snapp, Della’s grandson, officiating. Interment will take place in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Saginaw. The family will receive friends at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, December 12, from 6-8 p.m. and at First Baptist Church-Mt. Pleasant on Wednesday, December 13, from 10 a.m. until the time of Service.

Della was born on April 12, 1920, in Saginaw, the daughter of Walter and Mary Elizabeth (Burk) Dees. Della is survived by her children, Carole (Brian) Cluff of San Diego, CA, Nancy (Richard) Horton of Haslett, G. Michael (Mary Beth) Minnis of Mt. Pleasant; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and sister Betty (Raymond) Lorimer of Deltona, FL.

Della was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Jill Michelle Minnis; and two sisters.
