LAWSON, DONALD BATES, JR., age 84, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Friday, December 8, 2017, at Crestwood Village in Mt. Pleasant under the care of Great Lakes Caring Hospice.

A Memorial Service for Don will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Friday, December 22, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dana Hendershot officiating. A Luncheon will immediately follow at the church. The family will receive friends on the day of the service from 10 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, friends are invited to send a memory from Don's life to Clark Family Funeral Chapel.

Don was born on December 15, 1932, in Boston, MA, the son of Donald Sr., and Katherine (Mayers) Lawson. Don proudly served his country in the United States Naval Air Force. He worked as an Association Manager for Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning National Association for over 20 years. Don loved to downhill ski, spending his retirement pursuing his passion.

Don is survived by his children, Deborah (Jeffrey) Reimer of Mt. Pleasant and Donald (Vicky) Lawson, III of Saginaw; grandchildren, Gabriel and Lillian Reimer, Donald Lawson IV, and David Reitz; and former wife, Patricia Lawson.

Don was preceded in death by his parents.
