BUCHOLTZ (LIEBETREU/MILLER), DORIS L., age 91, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Woodland Hospice.

Doris was born December 28, 1925 in Ludington, Michigan to George F. and Edith (Nelson) Liebetreu. She was a 53 year resident of Mt. Pleasant, and retired in 1991 from CMU food service department. Doris was a life member of Borley-Hanel #3033 VFW Auxiliary for over 51 years. She loved and enjoyed her family; and was a wonderful mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many.

Doris is survived by her children: Sandra (Terry) Miller-O'Rourke, Ann Anton, Joan (Steve) LeVier, Paul (Rhonda) Bucholtz; grandson Zachary Anton; sister Carol (Glen) Dolezal; sister-in-laws Donna Liebetreu, Ruth Liebetrea, and Joan Bucholtz; brother-in-law William Bucholtz; and many nieces and nephews.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents; her spouse of 51 years, Robert M. Bucholtz, widowed by Marvin J. Miller; sisters Irene Liebetreu, Marion (Donald) Nelson, Pauline (Bud) Lunde; brothers George F., Robert, Roger, and Everett Liebetreu; son-in-law Todd Anton; brother-in-law Thomas Bucholtz, Russ (Betty) Miller; sister-in-laws Marlys Bucholtz, Marge Liebetreu-Branson, and Louise Miller-McDonald.

A Memorial Service for Doris will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 12 p.m. at Clark Family Funeral Chapel. A Luncheon will immediately follow in the Reflections Reception Center. The family will receive friends the day of the service beginning at 11 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Woodland Hospice, Isabella County Commission on Aging, or a charity of your choice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
