Obituary for Dorothy Ardelle Reynolds
REYNOLDS, DOROTHY ARDELLE, age 84, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Monday, April 30, 2018, at the Isabella County Medical Care Facility under the care of Heartland Hospice.
A Graveside Service for Dorothy will be held at the Chippewa Township Cemetery on Sunday, May 6, 2018, at 2 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heartland Hospice or the Isabella County Medical Care Facility. Envelopes will be available at Clark Family Funeral Chapel and the cemetery.
Dorothy was born on September 25, 1933, in Chippewa Township, the daughter of Edward and Bernice (Weeks) Purtill. She married Robert Reynolds on November 17, 1984. Dorothy worked as a cashier for Gould's Drug Store for a few years and as a secretary for Bob at his State Farm Agency. Dorothy enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and was an avid reading, especially her bible.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Judy (Richard) Trofatter of Mt. Pleasant; step-daughter, Debbie (Mitch) Robbins of Marshall; grandchildren, Melissa (Jeremy) Deming, Jeremy Trofatter, Lisa Rolston, Shelby Rolston, Cory Rolston, Tamar (Pat) Lowery, Chad Rolston, Jared (Nina) Rolston, Valoree Martel, and Denny (Holly) Rolston; several great-grandchildren; sister, Eloise Timpe of Mt. Pleasant and special pet-friend, Rocky.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Reynolds in 2017; sons, Richard Rolston, Randy Rolston, and Michael Rolston; infant son, Kenneth; and parents.
