RYCKMAN, DUANE "DEWEY" SPENCER, age 46, of Shepherd passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017.

Funeral Services for Duane will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Friday, March 17, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Kris Remington officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. A Luncheon will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall following the Committal Service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 16, from 4 to 9 p.m. Visitation will continue the day of the service from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Duane was born on January 22, 1971, in Flint, the son of Danny and Laura (Hollenbeck) Kyser. He was adopted by Henry and Betty (Sheldon) Ryckman. He married Bonnie Brasington on June 10, 2011, in Mt. Pleasant. Duane worked as an assembler at Ventra in Ionia. He enjoyed doing body work on vehicles and his pride and joy was his 1971 Chevrolet Camaro. He always looked forward to spending Thursday nights with his brothers. Duane loved to hunt, fish, and watch his nephews play football.

Duane is survived by his wife, Bonnie; children, Ashley (Brandon) Wilkins, Taryn (Josh) Mead, and Landon Ryckman; grandchildren, Gracie Wilkins, Parker Wilkins, Bryson Mead, and Blake Mead; father, Danny Kyser; siblings, Danny (Char) Ryckman, Jeffery (Amy) Parks, John Ryckman, Rita Hinderline, Harry (Gloria) Ryckman, Ruth (Ed) Gallop, Allen (Colene) Ryckman, and Peter (Diane) Ryckman; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Duane was preceded in death by his angel babies; mothers, Laura Kyser, Betty Ryckman, and Velma Kyser; and father, Henry Ryckman.
