Edna Janice Gishpert, age 91, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at Medilodge of Mt. Pleasant.

Edna was born September 12, 1925, in Lenawee County, Michigan, the daughter of Glen and Bessie (Bates) Morse. She was married on June 5, 1944, to Charles Gishpert, who preceded her in death on November 6, 1969.

Edna is survived by her two sisters, Arlene Sapien of Grand Blanc and Carolyn Rosencrans of Niles; a sister-in-law Dorothy Morse of Tucson, AZ; many nieces and nephews; and friend William Valle. She was preceded in death by husband Charles Gishpert; son Ronald Gishpert; sister Margery Keller, brothers Gerald Morse and Maxon Morse.

Per Edna's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral services. Cremains will be interred in Trufant next to her husband Charles Gishpert.
