Edward Henry  Loehr
LOEHR, EDWARD HENRY, age 75, of Lake, passed away Friday, March 30, 2018 at Woodland Hospice.

Funeral Services for Ed will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 2 p.m. with Benjamen Evers officiating. The family will receive friends the day of the service beginning at 12 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow at North Brinton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Isabella Commission on Aging. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Ed was born on March 30, 1943, in Ypsilanti, the son of Henry and Muriel (Ladner) Loehr. He graduated from Redford High School with the class of 1961. Ed served in the U. S. Army. He retired from General Motors after 32 years. Ed was a volunteer driver for Isabella Commission on Aging, and was active in Silver Sneakers exercise group. He was an avid coin collector, enjoyed cars and all sports. Ed loved hockey, especially the Detroit Red Wings. He was an usher for his beloved Red Wings team from 1967-1979.

Ed is survived by his brother Charles (Dianne) Loehr of Lake; sister Paula Loehr-Coleman of California; 6 nieces and nephews Colleen (Craig) Ammon of Virginia, Karl Loehr of Michigan, Rachel (Paul) Hearne of United Kingdom, Becky (Isa) Farfan of California, Debbie Coleman of Oregon, Jeff Coleman (Ximena Galindo) of California; and several great nieces and nephews.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents.
