JACKSON, EMMA JEAN, age 97, of Charlotte, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Eaton Community Palliative Care in Charlotte.

A Memorial Service for Emma will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Clark Family Funeral Chapel, with Benjamen Evers officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow in Reflections Reception Center. Interment of ashes will take place at Union Cemetery in Isabella County. Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675-8517. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Emma was born February 25, 1921, in Isabella County, to John Henry and Delia Ann (Martin) Daily. Emma married Clifford Floyd Jackson on March 6, 1937, and he preceded her in death in 2005. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, hunting mushrooms, and loved to collect rocks and stones on the shores of Lake Michigan. Emma was always quick witted with one liners. Her positive attitude and generous heart were some of her best qualities.
Emma is survived by her brother Rolland Daily of Winn; sisters Ruth Hubble of Big Rapids and Helen Carter of Charlotte; and many nieces and nephews.

Emma was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four brothers Basil Daily, Ira Daily, John Daily, and Donald Daily; and four sisters Fidelia (Daily) Tupper, Dorothy (Daily) Dutmers, Rosella (Daily) Wilcoxson, and Alice (Daily) Rouse.
