ZINGERY, GALE G., age 85, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017, at Mid Michigan Medical Center in Midland.

Funeral Services for Gale will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Friday, July 28, 2017, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Diane Gordon officiating. A Luncheon will immediately follow in the Reflections Reception Center. The family will receive family and friends on Thursday, July 27, from 4 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue the day of the service from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church or Woodland Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Gale was born January 23, 1932, in Shepherd, the son of Roy and Ivah (Clemens) Zingery. He was a graduate from Mt. Pleasant High School in the class of 1950. Gale married Patricia (Ashworth) Bolen on December 21, 1979. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for many years for Grewe, McGuirk, Utterback, Welded Construction, and Lease Management. Gale was a member at the First United Methodist Church. Gale and Patricia loved traveling to Florida for 21 years. He also enjoyed woodworking, playing cards, shuffle board, and riding his three wheel bike.

Gale is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Mark (Mary) Zingery of Ludington, Mike (Bonnie) Zingery of Shepherd, Laurie (James) Cary of Mt. Pleasant, Robert (Robin) Bolen of Kalkaska, David Bolen of Mt. Pleasant, and Thomas (Mandy) Bolen of Gaylord; 15 grandchildren, Robert (Nicole) Zingery, Zachary Zingery, Sarah Zingery, Matthew (Jill) Zingery, Lynnette Ort, Bridgett Zingery, Derrick (Jen) Zingery, Travis Zingery, Roscoe (Cassie) Cary, Shayna (Jake) Bahlhe, Joelle Bolen, Nathan Bolen, Olivia Bolen, Jordan (Tasha) Bolen, and Angie (Brett Bucholz) D'Amico; 17 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, June Zingery of Shepherd; and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
