Obituary for Garry Steven Alcorn
Garry Steven Alcorn, age 62, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016 at his home.
A Memorial Dinner for Garry will be held at the Mt. Pleasant Eagles 4463 on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 1 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the Clark Family Funeral Chapel and the Eagles.
Garry was born on June 19, 1953 in Coleman, the son of Fredrick and Maude (Moore) Alcorn. Garry proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles. Garry was a truck driver and loved the road. He enjoyed playing bingo and was an avid Nascar and sports fan.
Garry is survived by sons, Steven (Kristi) Alcorn, Fredrick (Kelly Carter) Alcorn, and Shane (Karen Davis) Alcorn; step-son, Andrew Harless; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; mother, Maude Daniels; brothers, Hank and John; sisters, Diane, Freda, Alice, and Louise; and many nieces and nephews.
Garry was preceded in death by his wife, Vicki Alcorn; step-father, Ben Daniels; brother, Joseph; and sister, Patricia.
