COPPENS, GEORGINE ARLINE, age 81, of Lake passed away Friday, April 20, 2018, at Zephyr Haven Health & Rehabilitation in Zephyrhills, FL.

Funeral Services for Georgine will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Dennis Kalil officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 26, from 4 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue the day of the service from noon until the time of the service. Georgine was born on August 25, 1936, in Isabella County, the daughter of Jim and Beulah (Border) Wixson. She married Walter Coppens on October 8, 1960, in Mt. Pleasant. Georgine loved to listen to Elvis and dance. She enjoyed playing euchre with a glass of Crown. Georgine was a lifetime member of the VFW, and the Eagle's.

Georgine is survived by her children, Walter (Marcia) Coppens, Brenda (Allan) Brock, Cozann Hernandez, and Regina (Terry) Bouck; 12 grandchildren, Walter (Heather) Coppens, Sarah (Mike) Jentzen, Allan Brock, Jr., Rachel Brock, Jeffery Johnson, Alejandro Hernandez, TeAnna Hernandez, Jose Hernandez, Taneil Hernandez, Kurtis (Silvia) Bouck, Eli (April) Bouck, and Nick Bouck; 9 great-grandchildren, Emily, Ella, Paxton, Samuel, Alaina, Kaden, Ariel, Kyle, and Violet; siblings, Jim "Junior" Wixson, Donald (Pat) Wixson, and Ruth Ann (Rod) Cross; and her damn dog, Precious.

Georgine was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Walter in 2016; daughter, Mary Ann; parents; and several siblings.
