Obituary for Harry Lloyd Wilson

Harry Lloyd Wilson, age 70, of Dexter, MI, formerly Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2016 at home.

A Gathering in Honor of Harry’s Life will be held at The Reflections Reception Center in Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 4 p.m. with Deacon Larry Fussman officiating. A Luncheon will immediately follow.

Harry was born on November 1, 1945 in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Charles and Lydia (Zier) Wilson. Harry proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He married Pat Kavanaugh on March 17, 1972 in Mt. Pleasant. (PERSONAL INFORMATION)

Harry is survived by his wife, Pat Wilson; children, Jennifer (Ray Nicchia) Wilson, Chad (Keturah) Wilson, and Ike (April Lantis) Wilson; 4 grandchildren, Margaret Wilson, Benjamin Bunch, Lydia Wilson, and Henry Wilson; brothers, June (Margaret) Wilson, Ray (Tillie) Wilson, Bob (Judy) Wilson, Richard (Sharlene) Wilson, and Bill (Diane) Wilson; sister, Patricia (Russ) Torpey; sisters-in-law, Janet Wilson, Elouise Wilson, and Mary Jo Wilson; brother-in-law, Dick Loomis.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Doloris Graham, Bette Loomis, and Pam Hoover; brothers, Glenn Wilson, Donald Wilson, James Wilson; and brothers-in-law, Robert Graham and LaVern Hoover.
