Obituary for Hollie Joi Schell
Hollie Joi Schell 32 of Harrison passed away at her home on Monday, September 3, 2018 after many years of battling complications from Diabetes. Hollie was born December 1, 1985 in Clare, Michigan the daughter of George Earl and Rose Marie (Currier) Schell. Hollie graduated from Harrison Community Schools in 2006.
Hollie had resided in Harrison her entire life. She loved playing with her son and attending his Tee Ball games and school functions and was Cub Scout leader. Hollie was always supportive of her friends and could find a way to cheer them up. She was a strong advocate in helping to educate and raise awareness for the need to find a cure for Diabetes. Hollie loved watching cooking shows on television and volunteering her time at Larson Elementary School, Harrison.
Surviving Hollie is her son, Dante Schell of Harrison, her mother and father, Rose Marie Schell of Harrison and George Schell of Gladwin, Michigan, one sister, Heather Schell of Harrison, plus many loving aunts, uncles and extended family members.
Funeral services for Ms. Schell will be held in her honor on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison with Pastor Eric Pittman officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until time of service. Memorial gifts in memory of Hollie may be considered to the Schell family, in care of: Rose Marie Schell.
