Out thoughts and prayers are with the Pohl family. Howard was one of the finest men I've ever known. I met him when I worked at Chippewa Lanes. He came to me one day and said he was going to quit bowling because he didn't enjoy it anymore. His wrist was getting weak and he just couldn't control his ball. I drilled a 5 fingered, 14 pound ball for him and he was so happy with it and able to bowl another couple years. I enjoyed talking to him at the KC breakfasts in Beal the last few years. He will truly be missed.

Howard, I know where your going. All is well as that last putt falls into the hole. A truer friend, I have never had. The many talks, the many many golf trips from the shores of Myrtle Beach, to the hills of North and South Carolina to the hills of Tennessee. We traveled together as a group of friends and golf buddies. Many a story could be told about those trips, but that would take days to tell. From our trip from Michigan to Phoenix for a week of Golf. What a wonderful experience it was. Your friendship knew no bounds and I always had you as my Mentor. The trips with the new Van. The many stops to eat and the laughs and stories we told. Howard, the best a man can be, is a true friend to others and you certainly set that as a goal. My heart goes out for my loss and my thoughts to the Pohl Family. Get ready, Get set. Get the Foursome ready to play. We will all be together in Heaven.
God Bless the Pohl Family
Sincerely, Joanne & Jerry Hyland
