Ida May ""Two Hearts""  Stevens
STEVENS, IDA MAY "TWO HEARTS", age 83, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Isabella County Medical Care Facility.

Funeral Services for Ida will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 1 p.m. A Luncheon will immediately follow in the Reflections Reception Center. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 19, from 5-8 p.m. and on Wednesday beginning at 12 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Isabella County Restoration House. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Ida was born on February 27, 1934, in Ann Arbor, the daughter of Floyd and Clarrisa (Panck) Cross. She graduated from Britton High School in 1951. Ida married Donald Eugene Stevens on November 24, 1966 in Merrill, and he preceded her in death on July 16, 2007. Ida loved raising her children, cooking, watching General Hospital, and was an avid reader. She was always Elvis' #1 fan, and will always be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and quick wit. Ida worked in food service for many years, and she and Don owned Ma's Restaurant. Ida was known for her Black Ash Baskets, and other Native American crafts. She also enjoyed crocheting and knitting. Ida always instilled in her children and grandchildren preserving their Native American and German Dutch culture.

Ida is survived by her children: Linda Craig, Sylvia (Andy) Zelinski, Peggy Harris, Russell Stevens, Sandra Stevens, Judy Pamp, April (Larry) Borton, Gloria (Bill) Mulbrecht, Minie (Andrea) Stevens, and Timothy (Lisa) Stevens; 38 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sister Leota Bastiaans; sisters-in-law Marianna Cross, Jane Cross, Mary Cross, Sandra Cross; and brother-in-law Ted Stevens of Vestaburg.

Ida was preceded in death by her parents; husband Donald; son Donald; 2 great grandsons Trucker and Triston Harris; siblings Mary Bogedain, James Cross, Frederick Cross, Robert Cross, Raymond Cross, Virginis Guilford, Carl Cross, Paul Cross, and Christine Sparks.
