FURMAN, IRIS LEE, age 73, of Mt. Pleasant, was called home to join her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Woodland Hospice House.

Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will follow at a later date.

Iris was born June 20, 1944, in Muskegon, to Roy and Ruth (Wyrick) Ferrenburg. She worked in the food service industry for 52 years. Iris married Robert Furman on August 29, 1989 in Mt. Pleasant. She will be missed and loved by all who were touched by her warm heart and loving arms.

Iris is survived by her husband Robert Furman; 3 children David (Robin) Abbott; Tamara Willey (Edward Towns); Jeffrey Willey; stepson David (Crystal) Furman; grandchildren Jennifer, Stephine, Aaron, Edward, and Jacob; 4 step grandchildren Chase, David, Ashley, and Nikki; and several nieces and nephews.

Iris was preceded in death by her parents; 2 stepsons Andrew and Daniel Furman; and a brother Ross Ferrenburg.
