Obituary for James "Brian" Wood

WOOD, JAMES "BRIAN", age 103, died peacefully on December 11, 2016 at Masonic Pathways in Alma, Michigan.

Brian was born May 3, 1913, in Filbert, South Carolina. He was an Army-Air Corp veteran from World War II. He lived most of his adult life in Orlando, Florida, working for T.G. Lee Dairy. Brian raised orchids, showed and judged in orchid shows, was active in the Central Florida Orchid Society and a founding member of the Central Florida Bromeliad Society.

Brian is survived by his son, James Wood; and daughters, Nancy Wood and Martha Riggs; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline and his daughter, Susan.

There will not be a service. His cremains will be buried at the Greenwood Cemetery in Orlando, Florida.
