Obituary for Janet Ruby Schupbach-Kuenzli (Schupbach)

SCHUPBACH-KUENZLI, JANET RUBY, age 62, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015, at Spectrum Hospital in Grand Rapids.

A Memorial Mass for Janet will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday, October 9, at 11 a.m. with Fr. Don Henkes officiating. A Luncheon will follow in the Reflections Reception Center at Clark Family Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends the day of the service from 10 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Isabella County Commission on Aging or the Isabella County Medical Care Facility. Envelopes will be available at the church and the funeral chapel.

Janet was born on June 14, 1953, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of John and Ruby (Martin) Schupbach. She married Timothy Kuenzli on March 21, 2000, in Las Vegas, NV. Janet worked for many years as a resident care aide and retired from the Mt. Pleasant Regional Center. She enjoyed playing cards, spending time with her family, and traveling.

Janet is survived by her husband, Timothy; sisters, Mary (Phil) Mead of Beal City and Connie Sedell of Mt. Pleasant; mother-in-law, Verna Kuenzli of Alpena; sisters-in-law, Carol (Mel) McDougal of Glennie and Donna (Bruce) Baumler of Alpena; brother-in-law, David (Phyllis) Kuenzli of Orlando, FL; several nieces and nephews including, Chris (Dan) Weber of Beal City, Karen (Phil) Caron of Peabody, MA, John (Dawn) Sedell of Howell, MI, and Kady Kopke of Mt. Pleasant; and many great-nieces and nephews.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joyce Grandy; brother-in-law, Gary Grandy; nephews, Michael Oaks and Gregory Kopke; and father-in-law, Lawrence Kuenzli.
