Obituary for John Milan Kile

John Milan  Kile
KILE, JOHN MILAN, age 65, of Shepherd passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016 at McLaren Bay Region.

A private memorial service will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to establish a fitting memorial at a later date. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

John was born on October 23, 1950 in Broomfield Twp., MI, the son of Cecil M. and Ernestine (Kimball) Kile. He married Jan Wezensky on August 30, 1974 at St. Henry Catholic Church in Rosebush. John was employed by General Motors for 36 years from 1968-2004. His absolute passion was his lifelong farming. He proudly owned and operated 5J Farm, a black angus cow/calf operation.

John is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jan Kile of Shepherd; 3 sons, Jeremy (Teresa) Kile of Shepherd, Jason (Carmel Geib) Kile of Royal Oak, Jordan (Jessica Nerbonne) Kile of Shepherd; 2 granddaughters McKenzie and Megan Kile; step-grandchildren Kody Meyer, Allissa (James) Greenacre; brothers Larry Kile of Mt. Pleasant, Gary Kile, Duane (Peggy) Kile, Allen (Sharon) Kile, and Randy Kile all of Florida; sisters Sandy (Jim) Wentworth of Mt. Pleasant, Carol (Ron) Bissell of Riverdale, Connie (Mel) Allen of Florida, Lori (Donnie) McArthur of Florida; mother-in-law Ann (Gary) Knapp of Rosebush; in-laws Lori (Walt) Hackett of Shepherd, Dave (Amy) Wezensky of Leaton, Rick Wezensky of Rosebush; many nieces and nephews; beloved companion Memphis, and his cat Jack.

John is preceded in death by his parents, and his father-in-law Patrick Wezensky.
