Obituary for Joyce Ann Leineke

Joyce Ann Leineke, age 73, previously of Rosebush passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at McLaren Central Michigan Hospital.

Funeral Services for Joyce will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 1p.m. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral chapel the day of the service from 12 noon until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Joyce was born on August 13, 1942 in Flint, the daughter of Maurice Walker and Dortha Thompson. Joyce graduated from Chippewa Hills High School. Joyce worked at the Leinke family owned Rosebush Fruit Market in the 1960’s and 1970’s.

Joyce is survived by her daughters, Stella (Vernon) Bruce of Texas; Paula McDaniel; and Tammy Buckwalter and Rene Hernandez both of Arkansas; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jim (Marsha) Walker of Arizona, Ike (Perke) Leineke of Clare, Gloria (Dan) Sponseller, Bill (Janet) Leineke, both of Mt. Pleasant, and Brenda Falsetta of Dearborn; and best friend, Chloe.

Joyce was preceded in death by her biological father Maurice Walker, and her parents, Donald and Dortha Leineke, Sr.; brothers, Jerry and Bobby Leineke; and son-in-law, Tommy McDaniel.
