Kathryn Ann Hansen, 78, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at her home.

A Memorial Service for Kathryn will be held on Monday, July 10, at 11 a.m. from Clark Funeral Chapel with The Rev. Nancy Casey Fulton officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 9, from 3-5 and on Monday, July 10, from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Michigan or the Cancer Society of America. Envelopes will be available at Clark Funeral Chapel.

Kathryn was born on April 28, 1928, in Middleton, MI, the daughter of Robert and Kate (Morse) Shuttleworth. She graduated from high school and received her degree as an LPN. Kathryn married Jack Hansen on June 27, 1948, in Middleton. She worked for Ferro Manufacturing in the early 1950’s and as a LPN for the Davis Clinic for 21 years before retiring. Kathryn enjoyed crocheting, piano/music, cooking and traveling.

Kathryn is survived by her husband, Jack of Mt. Pleasant; children, Gregory (Pamela) Hansen of Mt. Pleasant, Jeffrey (Teresa) Hansen of Douglas, MI, Bradley (Cindy) Hansen of Midland and Babette (Bob) Rea of Chicago, IL; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one brother, J.D. (Helen) Shuttleworth of Roseville, MI and sisters, Glenna (Leo) Beard of Mt. Pleasant and Florence (Russ) Geary of Barton City.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Hazel Meyer and Grandson, Scott Jeffrey Hansen in 1977.
