Obituary for Kaye Lynn Bahr

Kaye Lynn  Bahr
BAHR, KAYE LYNN, age 65, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Mid Michigan Medical Center in Mt. Pleasant.

Funeral Services for Kaye will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, March 21, at 1 p.m. A Luncheon will be held in the Reflections Reception Center. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 20 from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation will continue on Wednesday beginning at 12 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant. Memorial contributions may be made to HATS. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Kaye was born July 26, 1952, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Robert and Barbara (McLachlan) Heinlein. She was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School, with the class of 1970. Kaye managed the Pickard Street Citgo for the past 20 years, and had also worked for JCPenney jewelry department. She married Andrew Bahr on February 17, 2005 in Mt. Pleasant. Kay loved her dogs, spending time with her Dad working on old cars, and her biggest joy was spending time with her grandkids. She also enjoyed boating, sewing, camping, and riding motorcycle.

Kaye is survived by her husband Andrew Bahr of Mt. Pleasant; father Robert Heinlein of Mt. Pleasant; son Christopher (Amber) Lyon of Mt. Pleasant, son Matthew (Elissa) Lyon of Weidman; 7 grandchildren Sydney, Ariana, Johnathan, Alaina, Joslyn, Jay, and Luke; 3 great grandchildren Easton, Aliayah, and Isaiah; brothers Don (Diane) Heinlein and Dave (Kasey) Heinlein, both of Mt. Pleasant; a sister Janet (Randy) Mogg of Weidman; and her 3 dogs Lou, Sherman, and Bella; and many nieces and nephews.

Kaye was preceded in death by her mother Barbara.
