Kody Michael Roy Jarman passed away on the evening of November 3, 2015. Born on May 13, 1995 in Alma, he was the second child and the first son of Jamie Smith and Kurt Jarman, both of Mt. Pleasant, MI. After graduating from MPHS as Mt. Pleasant Area Technical Student of the Year, he attended Michigan Tech before finding a job on the oil rigs where he was outdoors all the time, the work was fast paced, and physically demanding enough, to captivate his attention. Growing up with his older sister Hailey (Nova), the two fought like cats yet were inseparable. He was also a spectacular older brother to his younger siblings, Carson and Chance. Kody was an avid computer gamer and had an eclectic, yet wide-ranging appreciation of music. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. Kody’s short, yet joyful life will be celebrated November 7th at Clark Family Funeral Chapel in Mt. Pleasant. Visitation will start at 10 a.m., a brief service starting at 11 a.m., with a luncheon following in the Reflections Reception Center. All who wish are welcome to attend. Sometimes there is no tomorrow. Let us learn to express ourselves, unreservedly, today.
