Obituary for Lee O. Forshee

Lee O. Forshee, age 85, of Weidman passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015 at MediLodge of Mt. Pleasant in Mt. Pleasant.

Funeral Services for Lee will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Wednesday December 2, at 12 p.m. with Elder Jeff Galla officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday, December 2, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place at Forest Hill Cemetery in Sherman Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the Remus Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness or Isabella County Animal Shelter. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Lee was born on March 19, 1930, in Duffield, the son of Orvie and Marion (Parker) Forshee. Lee retired from Dow Chemical in Midland in 1987, after 30 years of service. He loved woodworking, fishing, and camping. Lee was a member of the Remus Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness.

Lee is survived by his 5 children Duane and Debra Forshee of Midland, MI; Beverly Whitmer of Beaverton, MI; Keith Forshee of Spanaway, WA; Janet and Chad Burt of Shepherd, MI, and Marilyn and Dan Mills of Weidman, MI; 2 step children Kathryn and James Archie of Mt. Pleasant, MI, Mark and Sue Baldwin of Hemlock, MI; 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter; 3 brothers Ted and Yvonne Forshee of Midland, MI, Ralph Forshee of Tustin, MI, and Jack Forshee of Midland, MI.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael in 1967; daughter, Judy Camp in 1999; 2 sisters, Margaret Forshee and Dorothy Bear; and 2 brothers, Donald and Laverne Forshee.
