PATTERSON, LESTER ERNEST, age 54, of Lake Isabella, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2016, at his home under the care of Great Lakes Hospice.

Funeral Services for Lester will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, November 30, at Clark Family Funeral Chapel with Pastor Diane Wheeler officiating. Interment will take place in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday, November 30, at the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Lester was born on April 8, 1962, in Greenville, MI, the son of Lee Ernest and Shirley Ann (Neeley) Patterson. He married Barbara Rae Colton on February 14, 1986, in Bellaire, MI. Lester was employed as a milker for dairy farms. He was a member of the Weidman New Life Fellowship. Lester enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed playing bingo. Lester liked working on vehicles and loved watching his boys race.

Lester is survived by his wife, Barbara Patterson of Lake Isabella; his children Ronnie Groh of Lake, Fay (Nathan) Haney of Weidman, Ken (Shonna) Patterson of Lake, Sophia Patterson of Lake Isabella and Doug (Jessica) Patterson of Lake Isabella; 9 grandchildren; mother Shirley Patterson of Weidman; mother-in-law Mary Colton of Harrison; brothers James Patterson of Mt. Pleasant and William (Robin) Patterson of Weidman; and sister Ruth Patterson of Lake.

Lester was preceded in death by his father Lee Patterson on April 1, 1999; his brother Ronald Patterson; sister Theresa McCracken; and his grandparents.
