Obituary for Lilah L. Sisco

Lilah L.  Sisco
SISCO, LILAH L., age 88, of Lake passed away Saturday, September 3, 2016, at McLaren Central Michigan.

Funeral Services for Lilah will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at Clark Family Funeral Chapel with Pastor Dean Willard of Weidman Baptist Church officiating. Interment will take place in North Brinton Cemetery. A luncheon will follow the graveside service at the Sherman Township Hall. The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6, at Clark Family Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Weidman Baptist Church or a church of donor’s choice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Lilah was born on September 7, 1927, in Sherman Township, Michigan, the daughter of William and Alice (Elliott) Terry. She married Wayne Sisco on January 18, 1946, in Mecosta County and became a homemaker. Lilah was a member of the Weidman Baptist Church and had a very strong faith in God. She enjoyed sewing and embroidery. She loved the company of her family and friends and never met anyone she didn’t like.

Lilah is survived by her children, Julie Ann (Sisco) Lassen of Lake, David (Colleen) Sisco, Sr. of Lake, Arlene (Douglas) Elias of Beal City, and Robert (Susan) Sisco of Weidman; 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sisters Leila Puckett of Tucson, AZ, Freda White of Oregon, and Doris (Dale) Fisher of Sheridan.

Lilah was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Sisco on July 9, 2002; her parents; brothers Virgil and Marty and sisters Dortha, Betty, and Beth.
