Obituary for Lloyd Raymond Fry
Lloyd Raymond Fry, age 63, of Shepherd passed away Saturday, September 5, 2015, at his home under the care of Woodland Hospice.
A Memorial Service for Lloyd will be held at the Countryside United Methodist Church, 4624 S. Leaton Rd., Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858, on Wednesday, September 16, at 6:30 p.m. with Pastor Michael Palmer officiating. A Luncheon will immediately follow at the church. The family will receive friends at the church the day of the service from 5:30 p.m. to the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at Clark Family Funeral Chapel and Countryside United Methodist Church.
Lloyd was born on October 27, 1951, in Grayling, the son of Charles and Clara (Lilly) Fry. Lloyd attended Shepherd Schools and lived most of his life in Shepherd. He married Erna "Jean" Wing on October 21, 1972 at the Central Michigan Free Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant.
Lloyd is survived by his wife, Jean; daughter, Wendy Warren and her significant other, Nathan Rhode; grandsons, Laurence "Bud" and Josh Warren, and Marcus "Monkey" Rhode; sister, Barbara (Kaiser) Majid of MA; brothers, Charles Fry of Harrison, Delbert (Bobbie) Fry of KS, and Eugene Rowe of Mt. Pleasant; in-laws, Connie Wing, Penny Shattuck, and Skip (Mary) Wing, all of Mt. Pleasant, and Bob (Louise) Fair of Shepherd; former-son-in-law, Thad Warren; and many nieces and nephews.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law, Walt and Agnes Wing; siblings, Janet Fair and Carl Fry; sister-in-law, Lois Rowe; and 1 niece and 2 nephews.
