Cova, Louise Ilene, age 91, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Monday, July 23, 2018 at her home.

Funeral services for Louise will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Friday, July 27, 2018, at 2 p.m. with Benjamen Evers officiating. Interment will take place at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to HATS. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Louise was born on August 1, 1926, in Midland, the daughter of Harry Ludwick and Mary (Olson) Ludwick. After two years of secretarial school, Louise worked as the Senior Executive Administration Aide to the Provost at Central Michigan University from 1963 to 1986. She was a former member of the Zion Lutheran Church, was a volunteer patient care communicator and News Beat distributer at McLaren Central Michigan Hospital and won the Eagle Award from the Chamber of Commerce in 2004. Louise loved gardening and taking care of her cats.

Louise is survived by her son, Robert Cova, and cousins, Lorene Warba and Madelyn Wood.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents.
