Lucy Isabel Nance, 93, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Prestige Centre in Clare.
Funeral Services for Lucy will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Mt. Pleasant 1404 S. Crawford Road Mt. Pleasant, Michigan on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., with Bishop Jared Peless officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery in Harrison. Memorial contributions may be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints, https://www.lds.org/help/support/finance/online-donations?lang=eng. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Lucy was born on May 28th, 1922 in Weidman, the daughter of Laverne and Della Dorothy (Roe) Woodin. She married John Wesley Nance. He preceded her in death in 2005. Lucy worked for Hill Field Air force Base in Salt Lake City, Utah. Lucy enjoyed reading, crocheting, and genealogy. She was a member of The Church of Latter-day Saints in Mt. Pleasant.

Lucy is survived by her son Norman Nance of Missouri, daughter-in -law Brenda Nance of Georgia; grandchildren Tiffany, Jason, and Brian Nance, all of Georgia; siblings Janice Cunningham of Swartz Creek, and Marilyn Wilson of Harrison. Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, son Gordon Nance, 2 brothers William and Norman Woodin, and 3 sisters Ruth Ann Kipp, Margaret Carey, and Betty Savage.
