Marcia Lee Kennedy, 67, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2006, at her home.

Funeral services for Marcia will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2006, at 11 a.m. from Mt. Pleasant Community Church with Pastor Scott McKee and Pastor Ralph Fisher officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 21, from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, August 22, from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Clark Funeral Chapel and on Wednesday, August 23, from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Michigan. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Marcia was born on March 4, 1939, in Gladwin County, Michigan, to Herbert O. and Helen Marie (Raab) Yost. She married William Kennedy on July 29, 1959. Marcia was a member of the Red Hats. She enjoyed cooking, camping, and loved watching her grandchildren playing sports.

Marcia is survived by her husband of 47 years, William of Mt. Pleasant; children, Jeff (Chris) Kennedy and Sue (Thad) Wilson both of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Jay, Andrew and Casey Kennedy, Nathan, Wade and Josh Wilson, all of Mt. Pleasant; and her mother, Helen Marie Raab.

Marcia was preceded in death by her father, Herbert O. Yost.
