Marie Louise Wood, age 94, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Thursday, February 4, 2016, in Webster, FL.

Funeral Services for Marie will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 11, at Clark Family Funeral Chapel with Jeremy Wood and Cheryl Davis co-officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. A Luncheon will take place at the Leaton United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 3:30 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 10, and from 10 a.m. until the time of Service on Thursday, February 11, at Clark Family Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Isabella County Commission on Aging or the Leaton United Methodist Church Memorial Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Marie was born on June 23, 1921, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of William Jay and Rose (Ludwig) Woodbury. She married Albert Jay Wood on September 12, 1938, in Mt. Pleasant. Marie worked for Ferro Stamping Company and then CMU Food Commons. She was a former member of the Leaton United Methodist Church. Marie enjoyed arts and crafts, gardening and flowers.

Marie is survived by her children, Richard (Carol) Wood of Weidman, Shirley (Don) Elliott Shamp of Mt. Pleasant, and Beverly Kripa of Mt. Pleasant; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Wood; son, Robert Wood in January 2013; son-in-law, Daniel Kripa; 8 brothers; 2 sisters; 1 grandchild; and 3 great-grandchildren.
