RIGGLE, MARLENE KATHLEEN, age 80, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Friday, December 2, 2016, at her home under the care of Heartland Hospice.

Funeral Services for Marlene will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, December 6, at 11 a.m. with Doris Lucas officiating. A Luncheon will immediately follow in the Reflections Reception Center. Interment will follow in Two Rivers Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue the day of the service from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Marlene was born on March 23, 1936, in Weidman, the daughter of Frederick and Louise (Gross) Yuncker. She married Gary Lee Riggle on December 6, 1964 in Mt. Pleasant. Marlene worked for a few years at the Pickle Plant in Edmore before starting housekeeping at Central Michigan University. She continued in housekeeping at Central Michigan Community Hospital, retiring after 28 years of work. The most important thing to Marlene was family.

Marlene is survived by her son, Vern (Rosemary) Hoag of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Ryan (Josette) Coffey, Kristin (Mike) Gottschalk, Jamie Barber, Marla Hoag, Kayla Zingery, and Kaitlyn (Justin Quick) Zingery; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, Fred (Maggie) Yuncker and Art (Linda) Yuncker, both of Weidman; brother-in-law, Roy (Lois) Riggle; and sisters-in-law, Barb Riggle, Frances DeSonia, and Carol Jean Flack.

Marlene was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Riggle on December 25, 2013; daughter, Lisa Zingery on November 9, 2012; parents; and sister, Shirley Block.
