Mary was born on August 26, 1938, in Detroit, the daughter of Dewey and Isabell (Cameron) Pullum. She married Grant L. Anspaugh. She was a parishioner at the Faith Community Church in Mt. Pleasant.

Mary was both funny (sometimes naughty) and kind. She loved her church and church community, learning and playing Mahjong and other games on her computer (including her newest mobile game, Pokémon GO), her Nintendo Wii bowling league with fellow friends, playing Pinochle, watching NCIS, and in her younger days, square dancing with camping clubs.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Susan Anspaugh of Ann Arbor; grandchildren, Chelsea and Kerhwin Byas; step-grandchildren Megan and Allison Yount, and Asia Jackson; stepson Ron (Ginger) Anspaugh, his daughters Kim (Aaron) Perkins, Beth (Ben) Beskirk, and his granddaughters Kaitlyn, Olivia, and Addison; Mary's beloved brother, John (Geraldine) Pullum; nieces and nephews, Geri Lynn, Cheryl (Tom), Vickie (Dale), Jane, and John (Yukari); and cousin, Bill Gurr.

Mary was preceded in death by husband, Grant L. Anspaugh, her parents and aunt Mable.
