BLISS, MARY ARLISS, age 79, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Friday, June 22, 2018, at MidMichigan Medical Center in Midland.

Funeral Services for Mary will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27, at Clark Family Funeral Chapel with Benjamen Evers officiating. Interment will be take place in Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26, at Clark Family Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Mary was born on December 28, 1938, in Mt. Pleasant. She married Gary Bliss on October 1, 1962, in Mt. Pleasant and was a homemaker. Mary loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed fishing, boating, camping and gardening. Mary earned a 6-gallon pin donating to blood drives for the American Red Cross.

Mary is survived by her husband, Gary Bliss of Mt. Pleasant; children Sandra (Kerry)
Beltinck of Mt. Pleasant, Gary (Wendy) Bliss of Weidman, and Scott Bliss (Fiancee’ Cathy Mayes) of Mt. Pleasant; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and brother Ken (Billie Jean) Weaver of Mason.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Jesse and Al Weaver.
