FELL, MARY LOUISE "MAGGIE", age 86, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at The Laurels of Mt. Pleasant.

A Memorial Service for Mary Lou will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Thursday, May 24, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dana Hendershot officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Robert G. Fell Memorial Endowment at CMU, Sylvan Learning Center, or Immanuel Lutheran Church. Envelopes will be available at Clark Family Funeral Chapel and Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Mary Lou was born on April 18, 1932, in Unionville, MI, the daughter of Hedley and Mary Grace (Bunt) Bennett; sister to Maurice Bennett, Samuel Bennett, Bertha Fenwick, and Margerite Bennett.

Mary Lou graduated from Huron Valley High School in Milford, MI, in 1950. She married Robert G. Fell in December 1981, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Mt. Pleasant. Mary Lou drove school bus in Owosso, was a bookkeeper for YWCH Owosso, meat associate at Kroger in Durand, and many other jobs before working as a state licensed nurse. She retired from in home care of the elderly. Mary Lou volunteered at the American Red Cross. She was an active member at Immanuel Lutheran Church. She loved to cook and bake, ride her tricycle, tell stories, and write letters, listening carefully to God nudging her on who to write.

Mary Lou was survived by many adopted family members and step-daughter, Lynn Starr-Wahl.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husbands, Russell G. Starr and Robert G. Fell.
