Nathan was born on March 26, 1938, son of the late Charles and Erma Mallay. Nathan proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He spent the majority of his life in the Winn, MI, area where he could be close to his family and friends. He was well known throughout Michigan for his craftsmanship as a stonemason. He ran his business, Mallay’s Stonemasonry for many years, but was also considered a jack of all trades and provided several other services, such as excavation and house moving. He enjoyed staying busy and coming up with the next great idea for an additional service that he could provide.
