WEAVER, PATRICIA RUTH, age 81, of Grand Rapids, formerly of Mt. Pleasant passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital.

A Memorial Service for Patricia will be held in the Reflections Reception Center at Clark Funeral Chapel on Saturday, January 16, at 12 noon. The family will receive friends the day of the service beginning at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Habitat for Humanity of Isabella County. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Patricia was born on August 30, 1934 in Union Township, the daughter of James and Beulah (Gifford) Coon. She retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan after 19 years. Patricia had a passion for decorating and after her retirement went to work for DeKornes Ethan Allen in Grand Rapids. She was a member of the Unity Church in Ada, MI. Patricia enjoyed gardening and reading. Patricia also studied metaphysics, homeopathic remedies, and was a Reiki Master.

Patricia is survived by her daughters, Diana Knight of Grand Rapids, Debi (Rod) Cluley of Grand Blanc, and Robin O'Connor of Lansing; daughter-in-law Laurie Ramsey-Weaver; grandchildren, Jessica (Ryan) Coates, Stephanie (Jeremy) Reuter, Kyle Crouch, Adam (Elizabeth) Knight, and Alyssa O'Connor; great-grandchildren, Nataleigh Coates, Jillian Reuter, Lawson Reuter, and Alexander Coates; siblings, Beverly (Fred) Starkey of AZ, Nancy (Larry) Bailey of FL, Tom (Erika) Coon of AK, Jan Edwards of Alma, Cheryl Coon of Grand Rapids, Mike (Robin) Coon of NV, Jackie (Clyde) Reinhart of Atlanta, MI; and many nieces, nephews, and special friends. She also leaves behind her beloved cat Bella.

Patricia was preceded in death by her son, James Weaver; infant daughter, Tricia Allyn; son-in-law, David Knight; father of her children, Albert Weaver; parents; brother, Robert Coon; and infant brother, James Coon.
