Obituary for Paul David Compton

Paul David Compton
COMPTON, PAUL DAVID, 60, of St. Louis, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at his home.

Visitations for Paul will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from 12 to 1 p.m. Cremation will follow. A memorial service for Paul will be at St. Louis Moose Lodge on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 2 p.m. with Chaplain Ed Sanders officiating followed by a luncheon.

Paul was born on September 30, 1955 in Indianapolis, the son of Henry and Helen (Stratton) Compton. He worked as a truck driver. He enjoyed NASCAR and watching the Indy 500. He loved caring for his dogs.

Paul is survived by his children, Amy Compton (Juan Antonio Rojas Carrillo) of St. Louis, Shannon Delgado (Salomon) of Pompeii, David Compton (Katie Sanchez), Joshua Compton (Maggie Bentley) and Desiree Compton (Matt Teed), all of St. Louis, former wife Cynthia Schooler-Compton of St. Louis; 20 grandchildren; brothers Henry (Sherri) Compton, Jr. and Lee Edward Compton, both of Indianapolis; and sisters Pam Cross and Janet Frost of Las Vegas, NV. Several nieces and nephews.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents; sister Beverly Pardue; brother-in-laws Bobby Frost and Ernie Cross. Nieces Danielle and Gabrielle Kelso; nephew Lucas Pardue.
