Obituary for Paul Edward Schramm

Paul Edward  Schramm
SCHRAMM, PAUL EDWARD, age 80, of Mt. Pleasant, formerly of Kalamazoo and Flint, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2016 at the Woodland Hospice House in Mt. Pleasant.

A Private Memorial Service for Paul will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Woodland Hospice or to the Shriners Hospital for Children. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Paul was born on March 1, 1935 in Flint, the son of George and Myrtle (Sexton) Schramm. Paul proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He married Linda Ruth Henry on June 16, 1955 in Indiana. Paul was proud to work in skilled trades, working for General Motors for over 40 years and retiring as a General Supervisor in 1993. Paul was a lifetime member of the Morning Star Masonic Lodge in Swartz Creek and a member of the 307th Bomber Wing Association. He enjoyed fishing, watching sports, attended his children and grandchildren's sporting events, wintering in Florida, and working on family genealogy.

Paul is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Paul (Diane) Schramm, Terri (James) Bonnema, Susan Byrne, Michael Schramm, and Kelly Hartwell; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Elva Rinnert and Gorden Schramm.

Paul was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren; parents; and brother, Carl Schramm.
