Obituary for Phyllis J. Bacome

BACOME, PHYLLIS J., age 70, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018, at the McLaren Bay Regional Hospital in Bay City.

A Celebration of Phyllis' life will be held at the Mt. Pleasant Eagles 4463 on Tuesday, August 7 at 6 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Isabella County Commission on Aging. Envelopes will be available at Clark Family Funeral Chapel and the Eagles.

Phyllis was born June 29, 1948, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Charles and Evelyn (Snider) Ludwig. She graduated from high school and worked as a beautician for many years. Phyllis married Einar Bacome on March 2, 1984. She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Eagles 4463 and enjoyed painting, being a homemaker, gardening her flowers, and collecting hummingbird figurines. Phyllis loved spending time with her family.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, Einar Bacome; children, Sandy (Joe) Sharrar, Wendy (Chris) Seymour, John
(Teresa) Bacome, Einar T. Bacome, and Kris Thaller; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; mother, Evelyn Ludwig; siblings, Phillip (Cindy) Ludwig and Cheryl Ludwig; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her great-granddaughter, Jasmine LaFountain; son-in-law, Pat Thaller; father, Charles Ludwig in 2001; parents-in-law, Tony and Violet Bacome; brothers-in-law, Brad and Tony Bacome; and grandson, Matthew Sharrar.
