Obituary for Robert "Bob" Reynolds
REYNOLDS, ROBERT "BOB", age 90, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Monday, May 1, 2017 at Laurels of Mt. Pleasant.
There will be no funeral services held at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to Isabella County Commission on Aging or Heartland Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Bob was born June 18, 1926 in Marquette, Michigan to Howard and Clara. Bob earned his Master's Degree from University of Michigan and proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII. He was a school teacher at Midland High School, Mt. Pleasant High School, and was a Professor at CMU. Bob owned and operated his State Farm Agency for 32 years. He married Dorothy Purtill November 17, 1984, whom survives him.
Along with his wife Dorothy, Bob is survived by his daughter Debbie (Mitch) Robbins of Marshall, MI; stepchildren Richard (Louann) Rolston of Mt. Pleasant, Judy (Richard) Trofatter of Mt. Pleasant; 20 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two brothers Bud Reynolds of Marquette, Fran (Judy) Reynolds of Marquette; and sister Mary John of Marquette.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters Judy Nixon, Yvonne Moilanen, two stepsons Randy Rolston, Michael Rolston, and three brothers Lowell, Bill, and Raymond.
